Call for applications for 3-year doctoral contracts – 2026/2027
The Graduate School of One Health-Emerging Infectious Diseases offers unique opportunities for French and international students through its doctoral funding programme. These contracts, lasting 3 years, allow selected candidates to fully dedicate themselves to their research in the crucial field of One Health and Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Interested candidates must apply jointly with their thesis supervisor, submitting a detailed project proposal.
Project proposals should demonstrate a strong potential for contributing to the understanding and combatting of emerging infectious diseases, while highlighting the innovation, feasibility, and scientific relevance of the proposed work. Once the selection process is complete, successful candidates will have the opportunity to join the Graduate School and benefit from financial support for their doctoral studies, as well as from a dynamic and collaborative research environment.

Call for applications for supplementary PhD funding
The “One Health-Emerging Infectious Diseases” Graduate School provides supplementary funding for a duration of 3, 6, or 12 months through a call for applications, to support French or international PhD students in their doctoral research in the field of (Re)Emerging Infectious Diseases.
For students in the Healthcare sector, funding can be requested for a period included within any of the three years of the PhD or for an extension.
For students in Life Sciences, funding can only be requested for an extension.
The 2026/2027 call is open from April 7th, 2026 to May 4th, 2026.
