For students in the Healthcare sector, funding can be requested for a period included within any of the three years of the PhD or for an extension.
For students in Life Sciences, funding can only be requested for an extension.
In the case of an extension request, the PhD student must be enrolled in the 4th year of their PhD for the 2025-2026 academic year.
