A few weeks ago, Anvita BHARGAVA had the honor and pleasure of interviewing Doc. Anthony FAUCI on behalf of the Pasteur Institute and the Graduate School of One Health – Emerging Infectious Diseases of the Université Paris Cité.

Doc. Anthony FAUCI addressed crucial issues regarding the training future scientists should receive to prepare for the next pandemic. He particularly emphasised the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration across disciplines, as well as the value of partnerships between academia and industry.
Furthermore, he highlighted that socio-economic challenges and communication with the general public are areas in which scientists should be trained to effectively guide policymakers towards optimal public health outcomes.
