
One Health-Emerging Infectious Diseases
The Graduate School of One Health-Emerging Infectious Diseases* (1H-EID), selected as part of the “Skills and Professions of the Future 2022” call for expressions of interest supported by France 2030, aims to address the challenges of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. Its goal is to train public health and biomedical research actors through an integrated approach to animal, human, and environmental health.
Focused on innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and sustainability, this school seeks to fill gaps in understanding and managing these diseases. It relies on strong partnerships with academic institutions, governmental organisations, and field actors to train a new generation of competent and committed professionals.

Continuing education
The Graduate School provides professional skills validation for Master’s and Doctoral levels, as well as University Diplomas (DU) and MOOCs in various fields. Such as disease modeling, vector insects, and pathogen transmission, with a focus on emerging infectious diseases.
Research labs
The Graduate School collaborates with a network of institutes and laboratories specialising in infectious diseases, public health, as well as humanities and social sciences. This collaboration promotes interdisciplinary research and ensures high-quality training for Master’s and doctoral students.
Mobility scholarships
The Graduate School offers SMARTS-UP Graduate Schools mobility scholarships to its students. These scholarships promote international exchanges and interactions with overseas territories, enhancing students’ experiences and fostering global scientific collaboration.
Fellowships
The Graduate School provides doctoral scholarships to support students financially in their research on emerging infectious diseases. These 3-year contracts enable them to dedicate themselves fully to their research projects under the guidance of their thesis advisor.
